Pastor Tyranne McMillan felt
that the Lord had placed it on his heart to enroll in Liberty
Baptist Theological Seminary, so in January 2003, Pastor Mcmillan
came to Lynchburg and enrolled as a full time Student at Liberty
Baptist Theological Seminary. While in Lynchburg, he served
at Lynchburg Church of God as an assistant minister and Sunday
school teacher. At Liberty, he was part of the Powerhouse
Preaching Ministry Team, Campus Ministry where he served for
a year as a prayer leader, and part of Campus Serve, a ministry
that goes to different sites in the city to share the Gospel
of Jesus Christ. Pastor Ty started Ironmen Ministries on the
campus of Liberty University and is founder and president.
His desire is to see Men growing and developing in Christ
like character.
Adding to that, Pastor Ty completed a one-year
term as Seminary Student Government President and had the
privilege to lead the first ever all African-American cabinet
in the history of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Also
while in Lynchburg the Lord led Pastor Ty to plant a church
in the inner city. So in February 2005 he started Tree of
Life Christian Fellowship. The church became a multi-cultural
fellowship where the Word of God was being taught in context
and many people were accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord
and personal Savior.
After getting the church up and running,
The Lord opened up a door through the Christian and Missionary
Alliance to plant a church in Wilmington Delaware. So in April
of 2006, Pastor McMillan and his family relocated to Wilmington
Delaware to start City Impact Ministries.
Pastor Tyranne McMillan holds a Bachelors
of Science in Healthcare Administration from Almeda College
and a Masters of Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological
Seminary. His purpose is to make an impact for the Kingdom
of God.
Pastor Tyranne McMillan is happily married
to Brandy McMillan and they have one daughter, Bethany Mcmillan
